We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day accounting and financial tasks for our business.  The ideal person will have strong organizational skills, experience with accounting software and a solid understanding of bookkeeping and financial reporting. 

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and balance the general ledger

Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process

Reconcile bank and credit card accounts

Prepare and file various reports

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accounting software

Collaborate with Senior Accountant and external accountants as needed

Assist with accounts payable and receivable as needed

Job Requirements

- Prefer some experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficient with accounting software (QuickBooks - a plus)
- Knowledge of best practices with accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills

Flexible schedule opportunity as we are looking at either a P/T or F/T position. Expect 15-20 hours/week for P/T or 40 hours/week for F/T.

Compensation starts at $23/hr DOE, with optional benefits for full-time employees – health, dental, vision insurance, PTO and Simple IRA.
