Certified Medication Aide (CMA) / Patient Care Assistant Correctional Healthcare
Pay: $18 $19/hr | W-2

Location: Multiple Oklahoma Department of Corrections facilities
We are hiring Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) / Patient Care Assistants to provide patient care services in correctional facility medical clinics under the direction of nursing and medical staff.
Key ResponsibilitiesTake and document vital signs
Assist patients with activities of daily living and hygiene
Obtain designated laboratory specimens
Observe, document, and report changes in patient condition
Perform delegated patient-care duties within scope of training
Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment
Order, receive, and store medical supplies
Schedule appointments and assist with patient tracking/follow-up
Perform basic clerical and record-keeping duties
Provide outreach and support services as assigned
Current Oklahoma Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in good standing
Minimum 1 year of patient-care experience
Knowledge of basic nursing practices, sanitation, hygiene, medical terminology, and record-keeping
Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow written and verbal instructions
Must complete required ODOC online training (16 modules) before assignment
Preferred: Current Oklahoma certification for Glucose Monitoring and Insulin Administration

Additional Oklahoma correctional facilities may be added during the contract.
