About the Role Our client, a mission-driven healthcare and biotechnology organization, is seeking an experienced Contract IT Recruiter
to support hiring initiatives across its Product and Technology teams. This is a fully remote, 3-month contract opportunity for a recruiter with a proven track record of identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for product-focused and technology organizations.
In this role, you will manage full-cycle recruiting activities for Product Owners and other IT/Product-related positions. You will partner closely with hiring managers to develop effective recruiting strategies, build strong candidate pipelines, facilitate interview processes, and help ensure timely hiring outcomes. The ideal candidate is a proactive talent acquisition professional with exceptional sourcing capabilities, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced remote environment.
Job Description - Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for IT and Product-related positions, including Product Owners and other technology-focused roles.
- Conduct detailed intake meetings with hiring managers to understand business needs, role requirements, selection criteria, sourcing strategies, interview processes, and hiring timelines.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify, engage, and attract qualified candidates through a variety of recruiting channels.
- Screen candidates and present qualified talent aligned with position requirements and hiring manager expectations.
- Manage candidate pipelines and recruiting activity to support timely hiring, with a goal of filling approved positions within a 45-day timeframe when feasible based on market conditions and hiring manager availability.
- Coordinate interviews, schedule candidate meetings, and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams.
- Collect interview feedback and help drive hiring decisions through a timely and organized process.
- Maintain a positive candidate experience through clear, professional, and responsive communication.
- Prepare and extend approved job offers in accordance with compensation guidelines and internal processes.
- Partner with hiring managers, business leaders, and cross-functional teams throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Keep requisition, candidate, interview, and offer information updated within the applicant tracking system to support compliance, reporting, and process visibility.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Provide market intelligence, talent trends, and recruiting recommendations to hiring stakeholders.
Qualifications Required Qualifications: - Proven experience recruiting for IT, Technology, Product, and Product-focused positions.
- Experience supporting Product organizations and cross-functional technology teams.
- Strong sourcing, networking, and candidate engagement skills, including experience identifying passive talent.
- Demonstrated success managing full-cycle recruiting processes from intake through offer stage.
- Ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously in a remote environment.
- Strong partnership and consultation skills with hiring managers and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Experience maintaining recruiting data and activity within an applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and meet hiring goals in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience recruiting for Product Owner, Product Manager, Agile, Software Development, or related technology roles.
- Experience supporting organizations undergoing growth, transformation, or modernization initiatives.
- Familiarity with recruiting technologies, sourcing tools, and applicant tracking systems.
- Experience in healthcare, biotechnology, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
