Job Description

Dental Assistant – Join a Team That Will Invest in You

Marlton, NJ | 32–36 hours per week

At Monokian Dentistry, we’re looking for a Dental Assistant who has some dental knowledge or experience and is ready to continue learning and growing.

You don’t need to have every certification or years of experience. We’re looking for someone who understands the basics of dentistry or has had some exposure to a dental setting and, more importantly, is positive, dependable, motivated to learn, great with people, and takes pride in doing things well.

We provide plenty of hands-on training and mentorship to help you build confidence, strengthen your clinical skills, and continue developing as a dental assistant.

Why Monokian Dentistry?

We’ve been caring for families in South Jersey since 1978, but we’re constantly evolving. Our team practices high-level dentistry using advanced technology, modern techniques, and a strong commitment to creating an exceptional experience for our patients.

Just as importantly, we want our team members to grow.

This doesn’t have to be “just another dental assisting job.” We provide hands-on training and opportunities to develop your clinical skills, earn additional dental certifications, become a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), take ownership of systems, move into leadership, and continue building your career.

What We Offer

  • Medical and dental benefits

  • PTO and paid holidays

  • 401(k)

  • Continuing education

  • Uniforms

  • Consistent 32–36 hour workweek

  • Hands-on training and mentorship

  • Advanced dental technology and techniques

  • Opportunities to earn additional certifications and become a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

  • Opportunities for leadership and greater responsibility

  • A team that values learning, growth, and doing things the right way

What You’ll Do

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll work closely with our doctors and clinical team to create an organized, comfortable, and exceptional experience for every patient.

Depending on your current experience, we’ll continue training you to:

  • Assist our doctors with a wide variety of dental procedures

  • Prepare treatment rooms and keep appointments running smoothly

  • Anticipate what your doctor and patient need

  • Take dental X-rays, photographs, and digital scans

  • Educate and communicate with patients about their care

  • Use advanced dental technology

  • Help maintain accurate patient records

  • Work closely with the entire team to deliver an outstanding patient experience

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with some dental knowledge or experience who is excited to continue developing their skills.

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Have previous dental assisting experience, dental education, or exposure to a dental office

  • Genuinely enjoy taking care of people

  • Are dependable and take ownership of your responsibilities

  • Have a positive attitude and bring good energy to a team

  • Are organized and pay attention to the details

  • Communicate well and enjoy working with others

  • Can stay calm and adaptable when things get busy

  • Welcome feedback and enjoy learning

  • Take pride in becoming great at what you do

Dental licenses and certifications are not required to apply. A current New Jersey dental X-ray license, Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential, or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential is a plus, but we’re willing to invest in the right person and help them continue developing their skills and credentials.

If you already have a foundation in dentistry and are looking for a place where you can learn, grow, and build a long-term career with a strong team, we’d like to meet you.
