Job Title: Fence Installer

Job Description

As a Fence Installer, you will be responsible for installing commercial fencing systems, including chain link, stalwart anti-ram barriers, and ClearVu high-security fencing. Your role will require precise layout and measurements to ensure accurate fence placement. You will also mix and pour concrete for fence posts and foundations, operate construction equipment such as skid steers, augers, and trenchers, and read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications. Safety compliance and maintaining a clean work environment are essential aspects of this position.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial fencing systems including chain link, stalwart anti-ram barriers, and ClearVu high-security fencing.
• Perform layout and measurements to ensure accurate fence placement.
• Mix and pour concrete for fence posts and foundations.
• Operate construction equipment such as skid steers, augers, and trenchers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and worksite cleanliness.
• Assist with loading/unloading materials and site preparation.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Experience in construction
• Valid DL

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Able to stand 12+ hours/day.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Experience with general hand tools including screwdrivers, tape measurers, hand cutters, and shearers.

Work Environment

The work environment is designed to support advanced cloud and AI infrastructure with a massive project and numerous moving parts. The work hours are Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 4 PM, with end times adjusting as daylight hours change. The team size ranges from 5 to 8 members. The dress code includes long pants, a t-shirt, and leather work boots, with composite or steel-toed boots being ideal.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Cedar Rapids,IA.
