Position Summary

We are seeking  MRI Technologists  for an immediate contract opportunity at the  VA Portland Health Care System  in  Portland, Oregon . The selected professionals will perform advanced MRI imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and compliance with established imaging protocols.

Schedule

• Primarily  Monday–Friday
• 8-hour day shifts
• Occasional schedule variations based on facility needs
• On-call and additional coverage may be required

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and established imaging protocols
• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures
• Verify patient identity and explain imaging procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized imaging environment
• Participate in on-call coverage as required

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography with MRI specialty certification
• Current BCLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
• Recent hospital MRI experience within the last six months
• Professional liability insurance
