This is an on-site position at the KBI site in Boulder CO with occasional visits to the KBI site in Louisville CO. Only local candidates will be considered.
Position Summary:
This position requires an experienced professional with a proven track record of managing and supporting IT Systems. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields possess the ability to learn quickly and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
Position Responsibilities:
Design and manage LAN/WAN wireless and SD-WAN infrastructure across lab manufacturing and corporate spaces. Maintain IT/OT network segmentation between corporate lab and manufacturing networks. Configure and maintain network devices such as switches routers and firewalls.
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve basic network problems. Assist in the implementation of network security measures.
Position Requirements:
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices (routers switches firewalls).
- Understanding of Layer 2 Technologies (VLANs STP and Trunking)
- Understanding of Layer 3 Technologies (VRF VRF-Lite and SVI)
- Understanding of VPN Technologies (SD-WAN IPSec Route-Based)
- Knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP ISIS OSPF and EIGRP.
- Familiarity with basic network security principles (e.g. access control lists VPNs).
- Experience with network management and monitoring tools (e.g. SNMP Wireshark).
- Understanding of IPv6
- Understanding of operating systems (e.g. Windows Linux) virtualization and cloud technologies AWS and Azure.
- Capacity to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Ability to document technical procedures system configurations and project plans.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- CCNA required CCNP preferred.
Salary Range:
$84000 - $115500
Salary range provided per current averages and expectations. The salary and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidates qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
