Painter

Part Time | Days | 32 Hours Per Week

As a Painter you will prepare and perform professional exterior and interior painting jobs in a residential and light commercial setting.

Responsibilities of a Painter Include:

• Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques
• Interact professionally with residents, facility staff, and visitors
• Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary
• Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks
• Inspect paint jobs for quality
• Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment

Qu alifications for a Painter :

• Previous experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment
