The facility features a Level I Trauma Center with a 24-bed emergency department, helicopter support, a children's hospital, a state-of-the-art outpatient surgical center, a newly opened ambulatory surgery center, and comprehensive rehabilitation programs.

Opportunity:
Physician – Orthopedic Surgeon, Sports Medicine

Job Details:

• Join a dynamic, multi-specialty orthopedic team consisting of 14 surgeons and 12 NP/PAs covering a wide range of sub-specialties
• Work alongside 10 fellowship-trained primary care sports medicine physicians in a collaborative, turnkey opportunity
• Perform elective surgeries at a state-of-the-art outpatient hospital and newly opened ambulatory surgery center
• Utilize a dedicated orthopedic trauma OR with access to comprehensive rehabilitation programs
• Strong community sports medicine presence, including partnerships with local high schools, colleges (including all UMD sports), and organizations such as the Minnesota Ballet
• Participate in mass community events such as Grandma's Marathon
• Enjoy a 1:9 compensated call rotation at a Level I Trauma Center, supported by a dedicated call APP and surgical assistant
• Approximately 30 call nights per year, maintaining a healthy work-life balance
• Utilize the EPIC Electronic Health Record system to streamline patient care and enhance efficiency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedics required
• Fellowship training in Sports Medicine required
• Expertise in Hip Arthroscopy required
