What you'll do:

Production & Equipment Operation

  • Operate cable fabrication and production equipment according to work orders, production schedules, and specifications
  • Monitor equipment performance and ensure products are manufactured accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure proper alignment, positioning, and preparation of materials throughout the production process
  • Assist with machine setup, adjustments, and routine operational checks
  • Report equipment malfunctions or operational concerns promptly

Assembly & Material Handling

  • Assemble, bundle, and prepare finished products according to production requirements
  • Install and secure production components and accessories as required
  • Carry, stack, organize, and stage finished products for storage or shipment
  • Count, organize, and prepare materials and hardware needed for production orders
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely when authorized

Quality Control

  • Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Verify measurements, counts, and assembly requirements
  • Identify and report quality concerns, damaged materials, or production discrepancies
  • Support continuous quality improvement efforts

Safety & Housekeeping

  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
  • Participate in safety meetings and support a safety-first culture
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of materials, tools, and equipment

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with supervisors, leads, and production team members to meet production goals
  • Support efficient workflow and operational productivity
  • Participate in training and skill development activities
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
What you'll bring:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate or learn production equipment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
  • Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, production, construction, or industrial environments
  • Experience operating production equipment or machinery
  • Experience with material handling equipment such as forklifts
  • Welding, cutting, fabrication, or maintenance experience is a plus
  • Bilingual communication skills are a plus
  • Work is performed in a manufacturing and production environment
  • Exposure to machinery, noise, dust, and industrial materials
  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Frequent lifting, bending, reaching, and repetitive physical movements
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds
  • May require overtime or extended hours to meet production schedules
  • Must adhere to all safety procedures and PPE requirements at all times
