About the Role
SEIU Local 2015 is seeking an experienced and solutions-oriented Systems Administrator to support the reliability, security, performance, and continued development of the union’s statewide technology infrastructure.
The Systems Administrator is responsible for administering and maintaining servers, network systems, cloud services, telecommunications platforms, workstations, mobile devices, enterprise applications, and related technology resources. This position serves as a technical expert and escalation resource, helping ensure that staff, members, leaders, and organizational programs have consistent and secure access to the technology needed to advance the union’s mission.
Working closely with the IT Coordinator and other technology staff, the Systems Administrator supports infrastructure operations, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, business continuity, end-user service delivery, and technology modernization. The position also contributes to technical research, systems planning, implementation, documentation, and the ongoing improvement of technology services across SEIU Local 2015.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, sound judgment, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
