Northern Sales Company, a trusted name in Anchorage for over 60 years, is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Warehouse Order Pickers. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Working in a dry warehouse environment, you will operate an order picker forklift, replenish stock, and help maintain efficient warehouse operations. Responsibilities

• Operate an order picker forklift to accurately pull customer orders for next-day delivery in a dry warehouse environment.
• Assist with replenishing warehouse stock and sorting customer orders for delivery as needed.
• Communicate any discrepancies or damaged merchandise to the warehouse Operations Manager.
• Adapt to changing priorities to meet daily deadlines and ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts and working in warehouse distribution preferred; willingness to learn is welcomed.
• Familiarity with warehouse flow and distribution processes is a plus.
• Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and sound judgment.
• Reliable transportation to and from the work site.

Compensation

$18.00 per hour
